How will we stay safe?
Ministry this summer is broken up into mini-camps and clubs for the safety of the children in light of COVID-19. We take seriously proper alignment with the government standards and CDC recommendations for safety. In light of this, all summer ministries at CEF will align with the following guidelines:
Social Distancing
As much as it depends on CEF, all camps and clubs will promote social distancing practices among the children. We will use creative ideas such as defined places for seating, games that follow the six-feet apart rule, clearly labeled belongings, pre-packaged snacks, etc.
Cleaning/Sanitation Regimen
All bathrooms will be properly and regularly sanitized using safe and effective products. Hand sanitizer, masks, and other proper materials will be available and used often.
Group Limits
As long as Wyoming & Sullivan Counties are in the yellow stage of re-opening, groups will be kept to under twenty-five people. Numbers become more flexible in the green stage but will still be regulated.
Location Choices
As many camps and clubs as possible will take place outdoors or in wide open areas such as gyms or meeting halls.
*Please note: if counties return to the red stage, all summer ministry will be immediately moved to an online format
